CEWE is the Centre of Excellence for Women’s Entrepreneurship — a place for enterprise development — based at the University of East London (UEL). CEWE was created to meet the interest from our students, graduates and the wider community in starting up and growing a business. By combining our extensive business networks with UEL’s academic research base, we aim to increase awareness of the challenges facing women entrepreneurs and strive to address these by bringing together networks and services so women can receive the support they need to grow their business. CEWE provides opportunities for women in business to benefit from the lessons learnt by experienced entrepreneurs through mentoring, networking opportunities and a seminar series.
Our online resource offers women entrepreneurs and their supporters resources including a collaborative signpost system to our partners and an opportunity for women to showcase their success story to inspire the next generation of women entrepreneurs.
